I’m a law school graduate, and I know exactly where the first year breaks people: you read every case, brief every assignment, and still walk out of the exam unsure what the professor actually wanted. Tutoring with me is about fixing that disconnect, turning the material you’ve already studied into answers that earn points.
What we work on
• Breaking down doctrine you’re stuck on, in plain language
• IRAC and exam-writing mechanics (the part grades actually hinge on)
• Working through practice hypos and old exams so the format stops being a surprise
• Outlining strategy that you’ll actually use, not a 90-page document you never open
How it works
Sessions are virtual and built around the specific class and specific struggle you bring me. Tell me the course and where it’s going sideways, and we start there. This is a targeted, one-on-one work on your actual coursework.
Courses I support
All core doctrinal courses: Contracts, Torts, Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, Property, and Constitutional Law. Select electives as well, depending on the subject; just ask and I’ll tell you honestly whether it’s in my wheelhouse.
